A. Cancellation Policy
Introduction
Consumers are entitled to a right of withdrawal under the following conditions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed:
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the last item.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (ULILU GbR, Albersallee 55, 47533 Kleve, Germany, Tel.: 015752373205, Email: info@uli-lu.com) of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for the additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed with you; in no event will you be charged any fees in connection with this reimbursement. We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
You must return the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You will bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling the goods in a way that is not necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Connected/Financed Transactions
If you have financed this contract through a loan and later withdraw from it, you will also no longer be bound by the loan agreement if both contracts form an economic unit. This is assumed, in particular, if we are simultaneously your lender or if your lender is involved in the financing with our assistance. If the loan has already been paid to us at the time the withdrawal takes effect or when the goods are returned, your lender will assume our rights and obligations under the financed contract in relation to you regarding the legal consequences of the withdrawal or the return. The latter does not apply if the present contract involves the acquisition of financial instruments (e.g., securities, currencies, or derivatives). If you wish to avoid a contractual obligation as far as possible, exercise your right of withdrawal and also withdraw from the loan agreement if you are entitled to a right of withdrawal for that as well.
General Notes
- Please avoid damage to and contamination of the goods. Please return the goods in their original packaging, with all accessories and all packaging parts. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure sufficient protection against transport damage with appropriate packaging.
- Please do not return the goods to us freight collect.
- Please note that the above points 1-2 are not a requirement for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
